Watch the clip about plants and the basic parts of a plant.

Once you have watched the clip, complete the activities below.

Make a prediction on what you think the clip is going to be about. Remember to use ‘because’ to expand your explanation.

Half term project

As it is the half term holidays starting on Monday 25th May until the 3rd of June, daily work will not be set on the blog. Instead we will be putting on a project that is based around summer for you to work on if you like.

Make your own acrostic poem using the word SUMMER. 











Bucket list

Write about your summer and what you would like to do, where you would like to go and who you would like to see.





Maths task
 Solve the addition and subtraction calculations and colour in the boxes to reveal the picture.




Art 

Use a wide range of colours and patterns to design your own sunglasses. 







Look at the different sunflower designs and create your own at home. Think about the different resources that you can use!







What recyclable materials do you have at home? Create your own bird feeder to put in your garden. This one is made out of a plastic milk bottle.




Use natural materials to create your own paintbrushes then produce your own picture using them.
